Point where a line and a plane intersect

Tool(s): Intersect Line/Plane

To determine the point where a line and a plane intersect

1. Click Intersect Line/Plane (How).
   

   Activate Intersect Line/Plane in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Bonus Tools 3D Modeling

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   3D Modeling

2. Click Plane in the Input Options.
3. Define the plane in one of the following ways:
   • Specify 3 corners.
   • Specify 2 edges.
   • Specify an edge and a corner.
4. Identify the line by clicking it or its end points.

   The point of intersection is marked with a cross.
