Cylinder (freely positionable)

To create a freely positionable cylinder
- Click Cylinder (How).
- In the Input options, click Custom.
- Enter the center of the base of the cylinder.
- To enter the base, do the following:
- click another point in the workspace to define the edge of the base and then another point to define the plane in which the base lies or
Example - enter the radius and a to define the radius and the plane in which the base lies. The edge point defines the distance of the radius to the center.
Example
- Enter another point of the polygonal plane as temporary point.
- Enter the number of corners.
- Define the height of the cylinder:
- Click an existing point in 3D view.
- Enter the height in the dialog line:
A positive value points in the direction of the user; a negative value points in the opposite direction. (Example)
The manner in which the direction is interpreted depends on the projection of the window which is active when the box is designed.
If the system cannot define the height clearly, it will prompt you to enter a .
