Modifying bar properties of a mark

You can change the parameter settings for the individual bars of a mark as you need. The following parameters are provided for this:

Enter a factor here to define the ratio between the bending pin diameter and the bar diameter.

The changed factor is taken into account for all the bends of the bar which were defined based on the original factor.
The original factor is not assigned to bending pins you have changed using the Modify Bending Pin tool. Consequently, they remain unchanged. Moreover, the bending pins of hooks are not changed.

Note: For added control and to avoid misinterpretation, bar shapes with bending pins that are not in accordance with the standard always appear smooth in schemas, bending schedules and reinforcement schedules.

You can enter a number here that is different from the Actual number – for example, to include marks that have not been placed. This figure is taken into account for the full schema, the reinforcement schedule and the bending schedule.

In addition, you can use the buttons on the right to specify how the segments are to be labeled and how the bar length is to be calculated. The icon that is active reflects the setting in the

Options, Reinforcement, Labels page, Schema area. The following options are available:
