Delete Coupler/Thread/Connecting Bar (Schema)

You can use Delete coupler/thread/connecting bar (schema) to remove couplers, threads or lock nuts of connecting bars from schema bars.

To remove couplers, threads or lock nuts from schema bars

1. Click Modify Coupler, Thread, Connecting Bar (How).
   

   Activate Modify Coupler, Thread, Connecting Bar in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Engineering Bar Reinforcement

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Bar Reinforcement

   • Configuration: Engineering Engineering Modify flyout
2. Select Delete coupler/thread/connecting bar (schema) on the Context toolbar and click OK to confirm.
3. Click the coupler, thread or lock nut displayed at a schema bar.

   The couplers, threads or lock nuts and all the associated symbols are removed from the schema bar and the relevant placement(s). The original lengths of the bar segments that have been lengthened or shortened are restored.
   

Note: You can only use the Delete tool to remove couplers, threads and lock nuts from placements. When you apply this tool to schema bars, the entire schema is deleted and not the couplers, threads or lock nuts.
