The system defines the geometry of a fixture group from the geometries of the individual fixtures forming the fixture group.

To define a fixture group

1. Select the elements you wish to include in a fixture group.
2. Specify the base point of the smart symbol.
   This is the point at which the fixture group is attached to the crosshairs when you place it.
3. Set the reference point for the height.
   When placing this fixture group in precast elements, you can analyze the height of this point by entering $PH in the plan text.
4. Save the fixture group to an existing file or create a new one.
5. Enter a name for the fixture group.
   

Note: You can also combine fixtures with associated objects for displacement and reinforcement elements in a fixture group.
