Display parameters of smart fixture symbols

Tool(s): Smart Symbol Foils + Define Symbol Fixture

Type

This is where you specify the view type of the foil, which determines the view in which the foil is displayed. Six options, which represent the orthogonal viewing directions, are provided for 2D. There is one type for 3D.

Note: Non-orthogonal views of the fixture are derived from the 3D object.

In addition to the view types, you can define foils for dimensioning and linking (that is, assigning the fixture to a precast element). The points for dimensioning as well as the point for linking must be 3D point symbols. You can create these point symbols using the Terrain Point tool (How).

RSC->, <-RSC

This is where you define the scale range within which the foil is displayed.

Note: Set the reference scale for the smart fixture symbol so that it is within the validity range.
