Defining layer depth values

Tool(s): Place Fixture / Fixture Group / Dynamic Group Fixture + Place (manufacturer-specific) Fixture

When you place a fixture in an architectural slab or wall, you have to specify the values for the layer depth relative to the component.

To enter depth values

1. Enter the height of the fixture as an absolute value or by entering the distance to the lower or upper edge of the component. The height of the lower edge and the thickness of the component are displayed on the Context toolbar.
2. In the case of wall panels and symbol fixtures, specify the position with reference to the thickness of the component by entering the distance from the interior or exterior wall line. The thickness of the component is displayed on the Context toolbar.
