Prompt text for fixtures

Tool(s): Fixturel + Modify Plan Text + Replace Fixtures

When you have selected a fixture, you have to answer up to five (predefined) questions in a dialog box before you can place the fixture in the workspace.

• Click the relevant data entry boxes and enter text pertinent to the question.

  If you have included variables like $P1, $P2 etc. in the plan text, they are replaced by the relevant answers (1, 2 etc.).

When you select Match and click a fixture you have already placed, all its parameters are copied (if the fixture clicked is an identical smart fixture symbol). Here, ”identical” means that the fixture type, prompt text, plan text, catalog assignment and subtype are exactly the same.
