Using the Elements tab of the domed roof-light SmartPart, you can select and define the parameters for the components of the domed roof-light.

Elements tab

Curb

Curb height (a): select one of the three values given. The program calculates the curb height by adding the Height at bottom (5) and the Height at top (6) (see illustration). If you select one of the given values for the curb height, the program automatically calculates the parameters 1 to 7. You cannot change the values. However, the values for Height at bottom (5) and Height at top (6) change with the height you select for the curb.
If you select the Dimensions freely definable option, you cannot choose one of the predefined values for the curb height.

Dimensions freely definable: If you select this option, you can enter values for the dimensions 1 to 7. So you can define the parameters of the curb freely. Consequently, you cannot choose one of the predefined values for the Curb height (a). However, the value for Curb height (a) changes with the values you enter.

Dome

Shape: sld_shp1 sld_shp2 sld_shp3
Select one of the three shapes (cone, pyramid, half-round).

Enter values for the three parameters 8 to 10 (see illustration).
Height (b) is the sum of parameters 8 (rise) and 9 (frame height).

Note: The Curb height (a) and Height (b) parameters are attributes of the domed roof-light SmartPart. Using Assign, Modify Object Attributes (shortcut menu of SmartPart), you can check the attributes of the SmartPart. The names of these attributes are Domed_roof-light_curb_height and Domed_roof-light_dome_height.
