ARMATURIS rebar couplers
Tool(s): Coupler, Thread, Connecting Bar
In addition to the standard couplers of the Armaturis Firsty group, which cover the basic needs, the article catalog currently includes the couplers of the Armaturis Herisson group, which provide optimal bonding due to profile patterns.
- Standard couplers of the FIS type, HPS type and MOS type are designed to connect bars of the same diameter, provided the connecting bar is free to move lengthwise and can be rotated freely.
As lock nuts are used with couplers of the HPS type, these couplers can also be submitted to dynamic stress. - Position couplers of the FIP type and the HPP type are designed to connect bars of the same diameter, provided the connecting bar cannot be rotated freely (bent bars, available space and so on).
Couplers of the HPP type can also be submitted to dynamic stress. - Increases in diameter of the FIS-E type, FIP-E type, HPS-E type, HPP-E type and MOS-E type are designed to connect bars with different diameters; the diameter can be increased by one diameter.
The bar of the larger diameter is given the same thread as the bar of the smaller diameter. A standard coupler or position coupler that matches the smaller diameter of the bar is used for the connection. - Reductions in diameter of the FIS-R type, FIP-R type, HPS-R type, HPP-R type and MOS-R type are designed to connect bars with different diameters; the diameter can be reduced by one diameter.
The bar of the larger diameter is given the same thread as the bar of the smaller diameter. A standard coupler or position coupler that matches the smaller diameter of the bar is used for the connection.
Note: It is always the user who selects the coupler to be used. The program does not check whether the selected coupler can be used with the existing bending shapes (for example, you will not be informed if you select a standard coupler of the HPS type in conjunction with a connecting bar that cannot be rotated).
