3D polygon freely positionable
Tool(s): 3D Line
To create a 3D polygon that is freely positionable
- Click 3D Line (How).
- Click 3D Polygon on the 3D Line Context toolbar.
Tip: Using Back you can undo as many steps as you want.
- Click Free 3D entry in the input options.
- Define the center of the polygon.
- Define the edge of the polygon in one of the following ways:
- Click an edge point.
Example - Enter the outer radius and a to define the radius and the plane of the polygon.
The edge point defines the distance of the radius to the center.
Example
- Click another point of the plane to set an auxiliary point.
- Enter the number of corners in the dialog line and press ENTER to confirm.
