Installing an existing network printer

To install a printer that is already on the network

  1. Click Start and then Network Neighborhood.
  2. Find the computer on the network that is sharing the printer.
  3. Double-click the Printer folder, if necessary.
  4. Click the printer you want to install.
  5. Click Connect... on the shortcut menu or Install on the File menu.
    You can now use the printer as if it were connected to your computer.
