Reducing the layout size before printing

You can reduce the size of a layout using the resizing factor. This reduces (or increases) the size of the layout by a factor that you specify. You can also have the system resize the thickness of the pens dynamically or you can change the assignment between Allplan pens and printer pens.

To reduce a layout for printing

  1. Click Print Layouts (How).
  2. Go to the Printer tab, Settings area, and select the format of the printer for Windows drivers or the page format for Allplan vector drivers.
  3. In the Customize area, enter the Resizing factor directly in the data entry box or select Adjust to paper if you want the program to calculate the factor automatically.
  4. If the layout fits better on the page when rotated, select Rotation by 90°.
  5. Select Resize pen thickness to include pen thickness.
  6. Send the layout to the output device.
