The position of the coupling bar when concrete is poured into the first section defines the manner in which schemas are dimensioned. This is particularly important for position couplers that consist of the coupler and the part that is screwed into the coupler later.
In the case of coupling bars, information is always provided on the length of the bar segment with the coupler in brackets and the length of the segment without the coupler. The second value is the dimension you need to cut to length.
In the case of ongoing bars, only one length is given for the bar segment as there are no projecting parts. This value is the dimension you need to cut to length.
