Loading layout section or layout

Module(s): Crop Layout

You can use the Load Layout Section or Layout tool to navigate between the original layout and the layout sections derived from it. You can check the layout section and edit it using the Copy, Move and Rotate tools.

To use the ‘Load Layout Section or Layout’ tool

1. Click Open on a project-specific basis (How) and activate the original layout from which you have derived the layout sections.
   

   Activate Open on a Project-Specific Basis... in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: File

   • Keyboard: Ctrl+Alt+O

   • Toolbar: Standard
2. Click Load Layout Section or Layout (How).
   

   Activate Load Layout Section or Layout in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Crop Layout

3. Select the layout in one of the following ways:
   • Click a layout border with its associated layout section or
   • Click Layout name in the Input options and use the Layout structure to select a layout.

     The selected layout or layout section is loaded temporarily.

     Note: You can edit the layout section using the Copy, Move and Rotate tools. When you activate a different tool, the original layout is loaded again.

4. To revert to the original layout, click Load Original Layout (How).
   

   Activate Load Original Layout in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Crop Layout

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Crop Layout

Note: If the layout you have loaded using the Load Layout Section or Layout tool is not the original layout and you quit the Crop Layout module, Allplan will automatically revert to the original layout.
