Creating new layers when importing

Layers of the import file can be assigned to existing layers and to new layers, which are created during the import. However, this is only possible when the Layer plus definition option (Create during import area) is enabled in the Options (ODX), Allplan specific tab.

You can specify where the new layers are to be created in the layer hierarchy:

With Layer level 1 / layer level 2 you define the position in the layer hierarchy where the imported layers are to be inserted. If you select Layer level 2=file name, the file name of the imported file is used as layer level 2, and not the position set above. When you click the Match from Allplan 2015 button, Allplan uses the setting you have made in the Options on the Import and export page.
