Saving and compressing

You can use the Save and Compress tool to save the current drawing file and the files open in edit mode (or the active layout) and compress the data at the same time. As opposed to Save (How), none of the actions you performed prior to executing Save and Compress can be undone.

Activate Save in one of the following ways

• Menu bar: File

• Keyboard: Ctrl+S

• Toolbar: Standard

To save and compress drawing files/layouts or NDW-format files

• Click Save and Compress (How).
