Show In Detailing Window Only on/off

You can use Show In Detailing Window Only on/off tool to define whether new elements are displayed in the detailing window only. This is only possible when there is already a detailing window.

A detailing window is a zone in which design details can be displayed in various scales. Whether elements drawn in the detailing window also appear in the original document or only in the detailing window, is defined with the Detail tool (Special toolbar) .

To configure the system to draw elements in the detailing window only

1. Click Show In Detailing Window Only on/off (How).
   

   Activate Show in Detailing Window Only on/off in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Format

   • Toolbar: Special

   The elements you draw now will be displayed in the detailing window only.

2. Click Show In Detailing Window Only on/off again to quit detailing mode.

Note: When you delete a detailing window, the details it contains are transferred to the drawing.
