Tool(s): Hidden Line Image, Wireframe

To create a wireframe model

1. Click Hidden Line Image, Wireframe (How).
   

   Activate Hidden Line Image, Wireframe in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Tools

   • Toolbar: Default
2. Click Wireframe.
3. If you want to convert construction lines, click Yes. Otherwise, click No.

   The result is always displayed in a separate window.

4. To save the result, close the window with the wireframe model and select the drawing file or the NDW-format file (depending on whether you have activated the tool from a drawing file or from a NDW-format file) in which to save the wireframe model.
   You can also save the result of a drawing files as an NDW file by clicking Save As... on the File menu.

Tip: If you then switch to the destination file and it appears empty, it is probably because the data is 2D and your viewport is set for a different view. Either switch to plan view or select the Plan element in view option in Show/Hide.
