Activating sections

Activate Section displays an architectural section that you have defined with Clipping Path. You can identify the section’s clipping path by clicking, or by entering the section identifier.

To display an architectural section

1. Click Activate Section (How).
   

   Activate Activate Section in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: View
   • Toolbar Lower viewport border
2. Click the clipping path or enter the name of the section in the dialog line. Then press ENTER to confirm.

Note: Before you can place a section in a layout (document), you need to convert the section display of the 3D model to a 2D image and save it in a separate drawing file (document). To do this, use Hidden Line Image, Wireframe. You can only place floor plans and 2D drawings in layouts.
