Using the Clipboard

You can use the Paste to Original Position tool to insert Allplan elements from the Clipboard that you copied there most recently using Copy or Cut to their original position. You can paste the contents of the Clipboard as often as you need. When the Clipboard is empty or does not contain Allplan elements, this command is not available.

To paste Allplan elements from the Clipboard to their original position

1. Copy Allplan elements to the Clipboard using Copy or Cut.
2. Switch to a different file.

   Note: If you insert these elements in the same document, they exist twice at the same position.

3. Click Paste to Original Position.
   

   Activate Paste to Original Position in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Edit

   • Keyboard: CTRL+ALT+V
