Layout editor

You can use the Layout Editor to toggle between editing documents and editing layouts.

To switch to layout edit mode

• Click Layout Editor (How).
  

  Activate the Layout Editor in one of the following ways

  • Menu bar: File

  • Toolbar: Default

  The icon remains pressed in until you leave the layout editor. Clicking Layout Editor again takes you back to document edit mode.

Tip: You can also switch to the layout editor by right-clicking in the workspace and selecting Layout Editor on the shortcut menu.
