Buttons in dialog boxes and list boxes

The table below provides an overview of buttons in Allplan and what they are for.

Select text

Selects entries in dialog boxes based on criteria you specify. You can also use wild card characters (? stands for any single character, * for any series of characters).

Find text

Selects entries in dialog boxes based on criteria you specify. Matching entries are highlighted but not selected. You can also use wild card characters (? stands for any single character, * for any series of characters).

Select number

Selects entries in dialog boxes based on criteria you specify. You can enter single numbers and number ranges (e.g., 1,2,7-9).

All

Selects all the entries in a dialog box.

Nothing

Clears all the selected entries in a dialog box.

 

Adds an entry.

 

Displays the selected entry in the box so that you can change it. Entries you change are not saved and not added to the selection.

 

Deletes an entry.

Save favorite file

Saves the current setting in the dialog box as a favorite file of the element defined.

Open favorite file

Reads the settings saved as a favorite file back into the dialog box.

 

Favorite QuickSelect

Presents the 20 most recently used favorite files for selection.

Match settings

Transfers the parameters of an existing element into the dialog box. All you need to do is click the relevant element.

Options, settings

Opens the options of the defined element.

Print dialog box

Prints the dialog box (as a screenshot).

Default
settings

Resets the values in the dialog box back to their defaults.

Off, empty, clean

Removes entries from a dialog box or switches off attributes/settings assigned.
