Using local forms and settings across the entire network

This option is available for HP DesignJet printers if the following requirements are met:

Tip: Drivers and firmware are available on the Internet at http://www.designjet.hp.com/.

To make local settings available for other users

  1. Log on as the administrator for the computer where the printer is directly connected and shared (print server).
  2. Click Start at the lower border of the viewport, click Control Panel and then select Devices and Printers or Printers and Faxes.
  3. Click the printer with the right mouse button and select Printing preferences on the shortcut menu.
  4. Click Custom… or More forms... and enter the relevant paper size.
  5. Make additional settings as you require.

    Enter a name to save the settings you have made under Name of configuration or quick settings for print jobs.

    Now each user can select this configuration for printing:
    Print Layouts, select Windows printer and click Settings.
