BAMTEC file

Module(s): BAMTEC

You can use the BAMTEC File tool to save the data to a carpet file and place it in the layout. All the bars located in the plan can be entered.
The carpet manufacturer needs this schedule to control the machines. The carpet schedule and the assembly drawing which should contain the name of the BAMTEC® file, a bending schedule, the definition point of the carpet as well as all the labels (name of project, fileset and document) are transferred to the carpet manufacturer.

When you have created the carpet reinforcement automatically using the Separate into Files tool and the file splitting option, the log and the data for the layout setup (carpet name, unroll direction etc.) are saved in a separate drawing file.

To create the carpet file

  1. Click BAMTEC File (How).
  2. Select the reinforcement to be included in the carpet file (if the Reinforce without 3D model option was not active when you created the carpet outline).
  3. Click the reference point for the coordinates of the schedule (if you have created the reinforcement manually).

The program thoroughly checks the selected reinforcement according to the following criteria and displays relevant messages:

  4. Place the label for the carpet file in the workspace.

Note: To modify or to delete the invalid bars that are highlighted, deactivate the Color stands for pen option in Show/Hide.
