Label - bar reinforcement

Reinforcement options - Label

Allplan provides ten individual parameters for defining the components of the label. All you need to do is select the check box of the parameter you want to include in the label. You can only define a parameter when you have selected its check box.
Using the preview of the defined label, you can change the sequence of the parameters using drag-and-drop operations and specify up to five spaces after each parameter.

Mark, layout, size

You can define the shape of the mark border (layout). When set to circle, you can also specify the border size. If you enter 0, Allplan automatically defines the size in accordance with the mark number. Entering a number between 1 and 9 sets a constant size for all mark numbers.
Instead of the mark border, you can put an "M", "N", "N." or a "0" or "B0" in front of the mark number so that you can tell it apart from the number or pieces. For example, a preceding "N" or "N." is common practice in Brazil.

Selecting the Separate option produces a two-line label. The leader acts as a separator. The mark number is attached to the end of the leader. You can drag the line break to a position of your choice in the preview of the label at the top.

Number of pieces, border, separator

You can specify whether the number of pieces is displayed in round brackets or without a symbol. You can enter up to eight characters to define a text item that appears after the number of pieces and separates this parameter from the next one.

Diameter symbol, ASCII number

Use this to define an ASCII number for the diameter symbol for use with Allplan fonts.
But if you use a TrueType font for the label, this setting has no effect. In this case, a predefined diameter symbol is used in accordance with the regional settings.

Cross-section, separator

This defines how the bar cross-section is displayed. You can specify whether the entry in the Diameter or Comment column in the bar cross-section catalog is used. You can enter up to eight characters to define a text item that appears after the cross-section and separates this parameter from the next one.

Steel grade

Select this option to include the steel grade in the label.

Spacing, name, unit

You can define additional text (name) for the bar spacing.
You can enter up to eight characters. Blanks can precede the additional text if you have not defined any subsequent spaces for the previous parameter.

In addition, you can define the unit of the spacing by selecting an entry in the list box.

Layer, name

You can define a custom label for the reinforcement layer.
You can enter up to eight characters. Blanks can precede the name if you have not defined any subsequent spaces for the previous parameter.

Position, name

You can define a custom label for position of the reinforcement.
You can enter up to eight characters. Blanks can precede the name if you have not defined any subsequent spaces for the previous parameter.

Length, name, unit

You can define additional text (name) for the bar length.
You can enter up to eight characters. Blanks can precede the name if you have not defined any subsequent spaces for the previous parameter.

In addition, you can define the unit of the bar length by selecting an entry in the list box.

Custom text, name

Select this option to include custom text providing additional information in the label. In addition, you can define a custom label of up to eight characters that is put in front of the custom text.

Layer symbol, horizontal / vertical spacing

You can specify whether layer marking is created or not.

When this option is selected and the label is created automatically at the layer symbol, the offsets you specify here are taken into account. The drop-in point of the layer symbol serves as the reference point. A leader to the bar or dimension line is not generated.
