Adding bar segments

Module(s): Bar Reinforcement + Mesh Reinforcement

You can use the Add Bar Segment tool to add one or more segments to bars or bent-up meshes. Requirements: the bar end in question must not have a hook.

To add bar segments to existing marks

1. Click Add Bar Segment (How).
   

   Activate Add Bar Segment in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Engineering Bar/Mesh Reinforcement

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Bar reinforcement

   Mesh reinforcement

   • Configuration: Engineering Engineering Modify flyout
2. Click the end point of the existing segment to which the new segment is to be added.
3. Click the end point of the new segment.

   For reinforcing bar marks, Allplan creates a modifiable standard bending pin (4 ds or 7 ds) at the bend.
