Reinforcement tools

Module(s): Bar Reinforcement + Mesh Reinforcement

You can use the Reinforcement Tools to specify the scope of the reinforcement displayed in the individual views and sections when the Reinforce with 3D model option is active. In addition, you can dimension views interactively and automatically.

To control how placed reinforcement is displayed in sections

1. Click Reinforcement Tools (How).
   

   Activate Reinforcement Tools in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Engineering Bar/Mesh Reinforcement

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Bar Reinforcement

   Mesh Reinforcement

   • Configuration: Engineering Display flyout
2. Click one of the buttons displayed on the Reinforcement Tools Context toolbar to run the reinforcement tool associated with it. The following functions are provided:
   • All-1 - shows all the hidden reinforcement in one view / section.
   • 1-All - shows one instance of hidden reinforcement in all views/sections.
   • One-On - shows selected hidden reinforcement in one view/section.
   • Auto - automatically dimensions and labels the bar reinforcement placed in a view.
   • Hide - hides selected hidden reinforcement in one view/section.
     

Note: When you use the Remove from View tool to remove elements from a view or section, these elements are not just hidden but they are actually deleted from the view or section. Consequently, you cannot use one of the functions listed above to show these elements again.
You need to use the Add to View tool.
