The setting you make here only affects fixtures that were defined without 2D foils and whose display is therefore derived from the 3D model.

Select Hidden line image to display the visible edges of fixtures without 2D foils. Unlike hidden line images, hidden edges cannot be displayed in viewpoints.

Select Wireframe model to display all the edges of fixtures without 2D foils.

Note: If the Hidden line image option is selected for Display fixtures in hidden line views, fixtures are always displayed with the display parameters for hidden edges in hidden line views.
