Creating and saving your own RGB color file

To create your own RGB color file

  1. Click a tool that you can use to select an RGB color, Fill (How), for example.
  2. Click in the Properties color box.

    The Select RGB Color dialog box opens.

    Note: If the Color Gradients and Transparency dialog box is displayed, click the Reduce << button.

  3. Click the button to the right of Color system and choose Custom RGB color palette.
  4. Click the button beside Color file and select New color palette.
  5. Enter a name for the palette and additional information in the New Color Palette dialog box.

    Allplan uses this name to save the color palette as a *.pal file in the $STD folder (office standard). Any additional information you entered is displayed when you select the color palette.

  6. To define colors for the new color palette, do the following:
  7. Repeat step 6 and define more colors.

To provide your planning partners with custom RGB color files, you can select and back up the required *.pal files using the Services application. Select the Data Backup menu, Create, Individual files, Office standard.

Your planning partners can then import the files using the Services application (Data Backup menu, Import, Office standard).
