Importing XML files with options

You can save various Allplan settings in XML files. This guide shows how to import XML files containing basic settings for the Options (Default toolbar). For other XML files, please refer to the file description.

To import XML files for options

1. Download the file.
2. Decompress the file and save it in any folder on your computer.

   Tip: It makes sense to use the same folder for data of the same format.

3. Start Allplan 2015.
4. On the Default toolbar, click Options.
5. Click Import options favorites.
6. Click the Browse button.
7. In the Open dialog box, select the folder with the options favorite file.
8. Click this file.
9. Click Open.

   The option pages saved in the favorite are presented for selection in the area on the left. They are highlighted in yellow as an aid to orientation.

10. Select the pages you want to retrieve.
11. Click OK in the area of *.xml (name of the favorite file imported) to retrieve the option pages you require.

    Allplan replaces all the options on the selected pages with the options saved in the favorite.
