Slab Mark

You can use the Slab Mark tool to create horizontal slab marks. Options are provided that let you set the mark's scope and appearance as well as text parameters.
As opposed to the Horizontal Mark tool, a diagonal line is used to clearly show the scope of the mark.
To create a slab mark
- Click Slab Mark (How).
- Click an icon on the Slab Mark Context toolbar for the static .
- Select a for the mark’s border.
- Enter the length of the direction of load arrows by entering a value in the Arrow box.
- Use the following parameters to assist you:
- Plus Text to add text that will appear with the mark text.
- Leader to add a leader.
- to enable automatic numbering.
- Click to display the toolbar for general text settings.
- When you have made all the necessary settings, set the start and end points of a diagonal line. (the center of this diagonal line defines the drop-in point):
- by accepting the text proposed by the system
- after entering the text for the mark at the keyboard
- after clicking an existing text to copy it
- If you activated Plus Text or Leader the system will prompt you for the additional information and/or for the leader points.
