Importing ZSY files

Allplan symbol libraries are saved as ZSY files. The number of symbols in the library depends on the file size.

Note: Make sure that the administration file (ZSY000.000) is available along with the symbol file(s) so that you can use ProjectPilot to import ZSY files. The symbol library cannot be read without the administration file.

To import ZSY files

1. Download the file.
2. Decompress the file and save it in any folder on your computer.
3. Start Allplan 2015.
4. Click ProjectPilot on the File menu.

   Or:

   Press CTRL+R.

5. Click External path with the right mouse button and, on the shortcut menu, choose Select external path.
6. Select the folder with the file you have downloaded.
7. Open the Symbol folder in ProjectPilot, click the symbol catalog with the right mouse button and, on the shortcut menu, choose Copy to.....
8. Specify the destination folder: Office, Private or a project. Define the symbol catalog and click OK to confirm.
9. Exit ProjectPilot.

   Now you can open the new symbol library in the Symbols folder of the Library palette.

Saving and exporting ZSY files

You can save and export ZSY files using ProjectPilot and the external path. Make sure that you include the administration file (ZSY000.000).
