Program: Allplan 2015

Individual Allplan wizards are saved as NAS files. A wizard file can be loaded into the wizard.

Note: The wizards that come with Allplan are installed to the \etc\Assistent folder. They are combined in the Allplan group. You cannot change the wizards in this group. To define your own wizards, you first need to create a new wizard group.

Note: Save Allplan wizards in NAS format in the Office path (...\std\assistent\); only the data in this folder is converted automatically when you upgrade to the next version of Allplan. The Standard path (...\etc\assistent\) is reserved for the wizards that come with Allplan.

To import NAS files

  1. Download the file.
  2. Decompress the file and save it in any folder on your computer.

Tip: It makes sense to use the same folder for data of the same format.

  3. Start Allplan 2015.
  4. Open the Wizards palette.
  5. Select a wizard group in the list box at the top.

If you can only see the Allplan group, right-click in the list box, select New group... on the shortcut menu and enter a name for the new wizard group.
  6. Right-click in the Wizard palette and choose Open Wizard ... on the shortcut menu.
  7. Select the folder and the file you have downloaded and click OK to confirm.

The selected wizard file is loaded and displayed as a new tab in the Wizards palette.

Saving and exporting NAS files

You can create your own wizards. Use Save Copy As s.. to save a drawing file or an NDW file as a wizard file in .nas format.
