Module(s): Key Plan
Components of a mark
You can define the following components in a mark:
|
Span direction Select the appropriate icon depending on the static direction of load. |
|
|||
Mark symbol shape Allplan provides a number of mark symbol shapes that you can use to design marks that best suit your own preferences and requirements. |
Leader You can place leaders for the sake of clarity. |
||||
Mark text When you enable automatic numbering, the number entered as mark text is incremented by one each time you place the mark. |
|||||
Arrow lengths You can enter the arrow length:slab span ratio or absolute arrow lengths. You can change the length later. |
Additional text If necessary, you can place additional text. |
You can set the mark's text parameters by clicking the button.
Type and size of mark symbol
The module provides four different mark symbol shapes that you can use to design marks that best suit your own preferences and requirements. The rectangular and oval mark shapes are suitable for long marks. When you select the round or octagonal mark shape, you can also enter a numerical value to define the size of its border.
Entering 0 causes the size to adapt dynamically, that is, the program sets the size of the border in accordance with the length of the mark text. This can result in symbol shapes with different sizes. You can prevent this by entering a constant value between 1 and 9 for the size of the border.
Length of the direction of load arrows
The length of the horizontal and vertical direction of load arrows is generally defined by entering an absolute value. You can define the entered arrow length's theoretical reference point in the Key Plan module's Options. The direction of load arrow is always drawn from the edge of the smart symbol, regardless of the setting you make.
Arrow length measured from edge |
Arrow length measured from center |
For the slab mark tools, you can enter the arrow length:slab span ratio instead of absolute arrow lengths.
