Options, desktop environment, mouse and crosshairs
Representation when no tool is active
This option makes it easier for you to see whether a tool is active or not and, consequently, whether the shortcut menu is available.
Both options are selected by default. This means that the cursor is displayed in addition to the crosshairs so that you can see better what are you doing.
You cannot clear both options at the same time.
