Changing system parameters in the current report

You can define the appearance of the current report in the Report Viewer.

You can use the Report Viewer to change or hide system parameters (Edited by and Date) in the current report without changing the report template.

The system parameters that differ from the default setting only apply to the current report that is displayed.

To change system parameters in the current report

• You have created the report, which is displayed in the Report Viewer.
• A palette with the system parameters that can be changed is displayed on the left.

1. In the Allplan System Parameters area, click to the right of Edited by, for example, and enter a different name.

   You can change the following Allplan System Parameters in the current report (only the parameters that are actually used in the report are presented):

   • Edited by
   • Date
   • Email
   • Company logo
   • Company name
   • Project name
   • Telephone number
   • Time

     The system parameters are integrated in the report's header and footer.

2. You can use the settings in the User Interaction area to customize the contents and layout of the current report. In particular, you can:
   • Display report elements such as the component, number, graphics, logo, details, and so on.
     Show and hide elements using the check boxes.
   • Filter by specific elements such as components or materials:
     the report only displays the elements selected.
   • Enter text for the Note line in the header of the report.
   • Specify the number of the first page

     Note: Attributes you have changed are shown in bold.

     Tip: More information is provided at the bottom of the palette, where you can see short explanations, attribute names and internal attribute numbers (separated by @).

     The changes you make only apply to the current report.

3. You can now Print the report or click Export and place it in the current Allplan document or save it in Excel or PDF format.

Note: Using the Layout Designer, you can change and save report templates. New report templates can only be created with the Report Designer .
