Digital Terrain Model

You can use the Representation tool to specify which DTM elements are displayed on-screen.

To specify which DTM elements are displayed

1. Click DRepresentation (How).
   

   Activate Representation in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Terrain Digital Terrain Model

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Digital Terrain Model

   • Configuration: Landscaping/Urban Planning Digital Terrain Model flyout
2. Select the elements to be displayed.
   Elements with a mark in the check box are displayed.
3. Click OK to confirm the settings.

Notes:

• These settings will apply to all DTMs in all files.
• The Exterior Boundary and Cutaway settings apply to the grid itself. When On, only grid lines within the exterior boundary or beyond the cutaway are displayed. Off means that all grid lines in the DTM are displayed.
• Setting Breaklines to Off means only that they are no longer displayed in color.
• Certain functions require that the relevant elements be displayed. For example, points need to be displayed before they can be written to a file.
