Cutaway

You can use the Cutaway tool to insert cutaways in a DTM. Contour lines, elevation points and labels are not displayed within these regions.

Create a cutaway

Modify a cutaway

Delete a cutaway

Note: A cutaway must pass through existing grid points. This also applies if you are using 2D design entities as the basis for the line.

Tip: When working with drawing files, it is advisable to keep the cutaway as a geometric entity in a separate drawing file. You can use the polyline entry tools to match the element with the grid points on top.
