DTM - Color

Module(s): Digital Terrain Model

You can use the DTM - Color tool to apply different shades of color to the various height levels in a DTM.

To display contour lines in color

1. Click DTM - Color (How).
   

   Activate DTM - Color in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Terrain Digital Terrain Model

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Digital Terrain Model

2. Click the DTM.
3. Specify the difference in height between the different color sections.

Note: The height intervals are represented by different shades of the same basic color. The colors disappear when you quit the tool. If there are several DTMs in the document, you can only apply different shades of color to one DTM at any one time.
