Fillet and Tangent

Module Site Plan

This tool functions in a similar manner to Fillet. It additionally allows you to reduce the radius of the fillet to make it easier to subsequently add clothoids.

To fillet and tangent elements

1. Click Fillet and Tangent (How).
   

   Activate Fillet and Tangent in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Terrain Site Plan

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Site plan

   • Configuration: Landscaping/Urban Planning Site Plan flyout
2. Click the first element.
3. Click the second element.
4. Enter the radius of the fillet arc.
5. Allplan will present several options for you to choose from. Click the circle which represents the fillet you require.
6. Enter the desired radius. You can then fit in clothoids.

Note: The elements cannot be trimmed if you have defined a tangent distance.
