Road details

You can use Road Details to analyze existing information from a route and output this in the form of a list. If the road location line exists, up to four roadway shoulders to the left and right of the location line can be calculated. The spacing from the location line, the absolute height and the transverse slope relative to the location line are listed for each station.
- Requirements: the road location line is stationed, and stations have been created on the roadway shoulders using Perpendicular through Station (How).
To create road details
- Click Road Details (How).
- You can use the Input Options to specify whether you want to analyze the stations of the Selected element in its entirety or within a Part of the selected element. Here, element means roadway shoulder.
- Click the location line whose shoulders you want to analyze. When set to Part of selected element, specify the section by clicking the .
Note: When you click points outside the element, the points on the element that are perpendicular to the points you clicked are used.
- Select the shoulders to be analyzed.
- The Reports dialog box opens. Select the folder and report and then click Open.
Tip: Clicking Default on the left takes you to the module-specific Road details report.
- The report is displayed in the Report Viewer and you can edit it as follows:
- You can customize the report,
- Print it,
- Place it in the current document,
- Save it as a file in Excel, PDF or Word format, or
- Edit it using the Layout Designer.
You can save changes as a new template in RDLC format.
- Print or save the report.
You can also print the list to file. You can then distribute this print file electronically. If the list exceeds one page, you can specify whether you want to include all the pages in the print file or selected ones only.Tip: Placing report in the current document
