Introduction
Module Site Plan
Site Plan is a module that includes a wide range of tools that are particularly useful for road and bridge construction. Amongst others, it includes commands for creating curves and slopes of any shape, as well as for location line labeling and stationing. Additional commands are provided for creating point files and for exchanging these with geodetic stations, for example.
- Coordinates can be imported into the program by digitizing existing maps, by entering them manually at the keyboard, or on the basis of created point files - in any format, including the standardized REB format. In the same manner, route mappings that have been calculated externally can also be imported directly via the standardized REB file interface.
- Location lines are represented as composite elements composed of individual geometric primitives. They can be manipulated like lines within the program, i.e., copied, moved and intersected. In addition, stationing typical in road construction (dependent on the location of a modifiable reference point) is easy to create.
- During subsequent graphical analyses, you can label the main arc points and add stationing in different visual modes. Lines that run quasi parallel or parallel to the location lines can be extended automatically.
