Filled Line

Module(s): Paint

You can use the Filled Line tool to draw color freehand lines.

To draw color freehand lines (filled lines)

1. Click Filled Line (How).
   

   Activate Filled Line in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Presentation Paint

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Paint

   • Configuration: Design Shadow and Paint flyout
2. Select a color in the Select RGB Color dialog box and click OK to confirm.

   Note: You can also set the Granularity and Width of the color freehand line.

3. Click in the workspace to set the start of the freehand line, keep the left mouse button pressed down and drag the mouse.

   A line is drawn until you release the mouse button. During the drawing process, the line is displayed in green.

4. The drawing process finishes when you release the left mouse button.
5. You can now select a different color and draw more color freehand lines. To do this, repeat steps 2 through 5.
6. Click Cancel to quit the tool.

Tip: You can configure the program to display fills and fileed lines in the background only or to hide these elements complelely. This can be set with the Show/Hide tool on the Standard toolbar.
