Aux Pt: Move point on auxiliary line

Context toolbar for defining a stair’s line of travel and geometry

After you have defined the outline of the stair, you can use the Aux Pt parameter to move the points for the line of travel anywhere.
If the length of the stair is less than the length of the line of travel, the geometry of the entire stair is moved in the direction of the new point on the line of travel.

To move a point on the auxiliary line

  1. Click Aux Pt.
  2. Click the start or end point of the line of travel and reposition it; you can use the tools in the Point Assistant.

    The flight is recalculated.

    Example:

    (A) Bottom free
    (B) Bottom locked

Note: ou can use Aux Pt to move the line of travel within the outline of the stair.

In a similar manner, you can also change the position of the top step without changing the outline of the stair in plan.
