Show/Hide Junctions

Module(s): various modules in the Architecture family

You can use the Show/Hide Junctions tool to show or hide junction lines (for example, the lines where walls intersect).

To show/hide junction lines

1. Click Show/Hide Junctions (How).
   

   Activate Show/Hide Junctions in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Architecture General: Roofs, Planes, Sections

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   General: Roofs, Planes, Sections

   Basic: Walls, Openings, Components

   Special: Walls, Openings, Components

   Rooms, Surfaces, Stories

   Stairs

   Frame Construction: Rafters, Roof Beams, Posts

   • Configuration: Architecture Architectural Components flyout

   Note: junction lines you have already hidden or shown are displayed as dashed lines in selection color when you activate Show/Hide Junctions.

2. Click a wall junction line that you want to show or hide.

   If the wall junction line was previously hidden, the system now displays it and vice versa.

   

   (1) Click a hidden wall junction line you want to show

   Tip: Elements are always hidden in their entirety. Overlapping lines (in the case of adjacent rooms, for example) can be deleted using Delete Doubled Line.
