Label View

Module(s): Associative Views

You can use the Label View tool to add labels to a view or section later. These labels are associated with the view/section so that any modifications you make to the view/section (move, copy, delete, etc.) will affect them, too.

To label an associative view later

1. Click Label View (How).
   

   Activate Label View in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Engineering Views, Details Associative Views

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Associative Views

2. Click the view (or section) to be labeled.
3. Enter the text and confirm your entry.
   You can also define text settings after you have entered the text.
4. If necessary, enter an angle of rotation and place the label as you require.
