Remove View Points from Dimensions

You can use the Remove View Points from Dimensions tool to exclude view points from being dimensioned automatically. This definition is retained even when you make modifications later.

To exclude view points from automatic dimensioning

1. Click Remove View Points from Dimensions (How).
   

   Activate Remove View Points from Dimensions in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Engineering Views, Details Associative Views

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Associative Views

2. Select the view points which are not to be dimensioned.

   The program marks the selected view points with circles in construction line format and deletes the dimension line points from the dimension lines specified.
   

Notes:

• Bear in mind that several view points may be in alignment. This means that the dimension line point is only deleted after you have selected all the points.
• If you want to include selected view points in the dimensions again, you can delete the selection of these viewpoints using the Delete tool. To do this, enclose the points in a selection rectangle.
