Remove from view

Module(s): Associative Views

You can use the Remove from View tool to delete individual elements from a view or section.

To delete individual elements from an associative view

1. Click Remove from View (How).
   

   Activate Remove from View in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Engineering Views, Details Associative Views

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Associative Views

2. Select the individual elements you want to delete.
3. Delete more elements or press ESC to quit the tool.
   

Notes:

• You can use the Remove from View tool to actually delete the selected elements from the view or section. They are not just hidden. Consequently, you cannot use the functions of the Visibility of Fixtures tool or Reinforcement Tools to show these elements again.
  The display filter also deletes the selected elements from the view or section.
• To restore the elements you have deleted most recently, click twice with the right mouse button in the workspace.
• You can use this tool to hide intersected objects in sections. To show these objects again, use Add to View or Show Clipping Path.
