Parallel Surfaces
Module(s): 3D Modeling
You can use the Parallel Surfaces tool to draw surfaces parallel to existing ones.
To draw a surface parallel to an existing one
- Click Parallel Surfaces (How).
- Define the surface in one of the following ways:
- Specify 3 corners.
- Specify 2 edges.
- Specify an edge and a corner.
- Define the position of the parallel surface in one of the following ways:
- Place a point through which the surface is to pass.
- enter the offset distance to the new, parallel surface(s), specify the direction of propagation and enter the desired number of parallel surfaces.
- Press ESC to quit the tool.
